It's Easy and Fun to add vinyl to your car.

You just need to follow some basic steps.  You will need vinyl, transfer tape and an applicator (squeegee etc)

1.  Pick your color and placement on the car.  Most people will put vinyl on the window.  Putting most vinyl right on the car, even though it can be removed, is generally not a good idea as the paint under the vinyl will not fade as quickly as the paint on the rest of the vehicle.  White is always the best choice for color on windows.  To be creative, use another color with a white outline.

2.  Put the vinyl on the cutting back. Do not remove the backing from the vinyl at this point.  Set the blade depth to 6 and the pressure to 2-3.  The settings will cut the vinyl but not the backing, creating a "kiss cut".

3.  Select your design and cut the vinyl.

4.  Peel the background around your design off the cutting mat once it is unloaded. Leave your vinyl sticker on the mat.

5.  Place the sticky side of the transfer tape face down on your vinyl decal.

6.  Rub the back of the tape with overlapping strokes from the center out with an applicator or popsicle stick. This process is called burnishing.

7. Clean the surface first and make sure it is dry.  Position the transfer tape and vinyl decal where you want it and rub the back a few more times. Carefully pull the transfer tape back at a 45 degree angle. If the vinyl starts to peel away as well, place the tape back on the vinyl and rub the back more.

ENJOY!
